1. Who We Are
MQ Steel Corp is a structural steel fabrication and erection company. This privacy policy explains how we handle information submitted through our website at mq-steel-corp.web.app (and any associated custom domain).

2. Information We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily provide through our contact form:
- Name — to address your inquiry personally
- Email address — to respond to your request
- Company name (optional) — to understand your organizational context
- Project description — to evaluate the scope of your request
Automatically collected (aggregate only): to understand overall site traffic, we keep anonymous daily counts of page views and visits. These are plain running totals — they contain no IP address, no cookies, and no identifiers, and cannot be linked back to you or any individual. We honor "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control browser signals.
We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or per-user behavioral profiling.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to respond to your project inquiry. Specifically:
- To evaluate and reply to your request for steel fabrication or erection services
- To follow up on ongoing project discussions you have initiated
To respond promptly, a copy of your submission is emailed to authorized MQ Steel Corp personnel through our email delivery provider (EmailJS), and an automatic confirmation email is sent to the address you provided.
We will never use your contact information for unsolicited marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside of MQ Steel Corp and its direct operational partners without your explicit consent.
4. How Your Data Is Stored
Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. All data is:
- Transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit)
- Stored with access restricted to authorized MQ Steel Corp personnel only
- Protected by Firestore security rules that prevent any public read or modification
The anonymous, aggregate visit counts described above are stored in this same Firestore database as plain per-day totals. Security rules make them readable only by authorized personnel, and they contain no personal data.

5. Data Retention
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records. If you would like your submission deleted, contact us and we will remove it within 30 days.
6. Third-Party Services
This website uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

7. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or user tracking. To avoid double-counting a single visit in our aggregate totals, the site stores one small flag in your browser's sessionStorage — this is not a cookie, is never sent to any server, holds no identifier, and is cleared automatically when you close the tab. The reCAPTCHA service may set a session cookie as part of its bot-detection process. This cookie does not track your browsing activity across other websites.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights regarding your personal data, including:
- The right to access the information we hold about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate data
- The right to request deletion of your data
- The right to object to or restrict processing
To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

This website is intended for business inquiries and is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
